NOTICE FOR COUNSELLING – U.P.C.A.T. EXAM FOR BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY (B.D.S.) 2010 

Date of Counselling – 18^th July 2010 (Sunday) 

Timings – 

Rank 1 to 299 –  10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. 

Rank 300 to 599 –  11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. 

Rank 600 to 899 –  12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. 

Rank 900 to 1199 –  1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. 

Rank 1200 & above – 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. 

Note – Please note that if the candidate is unable to participate on the specified time mentioned above, the candidate can participate anytime before 3:00 P.M. on 18^th July 2010 (Sunday). However it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to log on time to get the benefit of maximum choice. For example:-

Candidate Rank is 413. Candidate is unable to participate between 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The candidate can also participate at any time between 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm but may or may not get the choice of the college he / she desires. 

Eligibility:-

1. Candidate should have appeared for UPCAT Exam 2010.
2. Candidate should have scored more than 50% in UPCAT Exam 2010 (40% for ST / SC / OBC).
3. All other eligibility conditions as per Dental Council of India rules.

Rules:-

1. Candidate can select one and only one college for admission.
2. Candidate can participate only as per date & timings mentioned above.
3. Candidate cannot change their choice once they have selected a college. Hence kindly choose and check carefully before clicking on your choice.

Process:-

1. Candidate will need the following to participate in the Counselling process:-
1. Computer
2. Internet Connection
3. Printer
2. Link for counselling www.upcatdental.net/bds/counselling.aspx shall become active on the day of the counselling i.e. 18^th July 2010.
3. Counselling is free of charge and no prior deposit of fees is required.
4. Candidate will select college of his / her choice.
5. Candidate will print “Allotment Letter” of the college allotted to him / her.
6. Present the Allotment Letter along with fees of college before 25^th July 2010, to the college of your choice for confirmed admission.

College Fees:-

Each college has different Fees Structure which is approximately in the following price range:-

Tuition Fees –  Approximately 1,50,000 to 2,50,000 per annum for 5 years

Hostel Fees –  Approximately 40,000 to 70,000 per annum for 5 years
